Privacy Policy

TGI Soap is a soap-making calculator. This policy explains what the App collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to get it deleted. It covers the Android and iOS versions, both published by Tomer Glick (the “we” below).

What we collect

You can use the calculator without an account. Without one, nothing you calculate leaves your device: recipes are only uploaded once you are signed in and choose to save them.

Advertising and your consent

The App shows a single banner ad, served by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choice and your device settings, Google may use an advertising identifier to select and measure ads. The categories of ads are restricted to a general-audience rating.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for consent before requesting any ad, using Google’s certified consent form. If consent has not been given or resolved, no ad is requested at all.
You can change that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options inside the App, where the form is required.
On iOS, the system also asks separately for permission to track. Declining it is respected — ads still appear, but without a tracking identifier.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings.

Who processes data for us

Google Firebase — authentication, the recipe database (Cloud Firestore), crash reporting (Crashlytics), usage analytics, and remote configuration. See the Firebase privacy information.
Google AdMob — the banner ad, as described above.
Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — if you choose one of them to sign in. We receive only the email address and identifier needed to create the account; we never receive your password.
YouTube — tutorial videos are embedded and played from YouTube, which applies its own privacy policy to what you watch.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed here. These providers operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards those providers publish.

How long it is kept

Your account and recipes are kept until you delete them. Crash reports and analytics data are kept for the retention period set by Firebase, which is at most 14 months for analytics events and shorter for crash reports. Deleting the App alone does not delete your account — use the deletion option below.

Your choices and rights

Delete everything. In the App, open Settings → Delete account. That removes your account and the recipes stored with it. You can also write to us and ask.
Delete one recipe. Open it and use Delete; it is removed from your account immediately.
Access, correct, export or object. Under the GDPR and comparable laws — including the CCPA for California residents — you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, or object to processing. Write to the address below and we will answer within 30 days.
Withdraw ad consent. Settings → Ad privacy options, as described above.

Children

The App involves lye and other caustic materials and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Accounts and recipes are stored in Google Cloud Firestore with access rules that let a signed-in person read and write only their own recipes. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it and the new version is published at this address before it takes effect.
